~ Tuesday Tips ~

It's Christmas, and everywhere we turn, we hear debates over "Merry Christmas" vs. "Happy Holidays." I'm grateful to see Christians rising up and defending our "Christmas Season," refusing to be told "Happy Holidays." However, those Happy Holiday people are still out there. How else can we get the Christmas message across without sounding brazen?

Here's one tip on spreading Christmas cheer without offending the recipients:

I try to write an annual letter every Christmas. I like to send it out with our Christ-centered Christmas card and a photo of the family (or, at least of the kids...). In the letter I make it a point to share at least one thing that God did for us in the past twelve months. I want my family and friends to understand that He is the giver of all things in our lives. I want to turn the glory back to God, in hopes that they will warm up to the fact that Jesus is still the Only Lord and Savior, that babe born in a manger over 2000 years ago. In this way, I hope the letter is our Living Epistle, shining Jesus' light on all who read it.
